September 4th – Earthquake Relief Trip | Mobile Medical Clinic
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake ravaged through the southern portion of Haiti on Saturday morning, August14, 2021. The country, which is already in a particularly volatile state, is feeling the effects of this natural disaster.
Haitian Heritage & Friends of Haiti (HHFoH) is in direct contact with officials in Haiti to assess the
damage. The need is critical and urgent.
At this time, HHFoH is assembling medical supplies, food, & hygiene kits to be shipped to Haiti,
along with a mobile medical clinic. In addition, HHFoH will be sending a medical team to work in
conjunction with a local hospital to assist with medical needs. The intent is to be in Haiti by September 4th to support the Haitian community in whatever needs possible.
Here is how you can support HHFoH’s mission:
- Prayers for Haiti, the people of Haiti, and the medical team
- Make a tax-deductible donation towards our relief efforts. All proceeds will go directly to support
those affected by the earthquake - Assemble Hygiene Kits for our team to distribute to earthquake victims
- Assemble Food/Water Kits with beans, rice, pasta, and flour/sugar into 5-gallon buckets
- Assemble Cleaning Buckets into 5-gallon containers
- Travel with us to Haiti. We need doctors, nurses, paramedics, LPNs, and non-medical staff to
support the clinic. The intent is to arrive by September 4th for a 2-week period.
