On Sunday June 24th, 2018 we will be putting together 600 hygiene Kits during LOVE Week at Elevation Church Uptown. Every year Elevation Church partners with over 300 organizations to donate time and effort to those who need it the most during a week long effort called LOVE week. LOVE week is best described as God’s love in action.

This year during LOVE week Haitian Heritage & Friends of Haiti will be making 600 Hygiene Kits for our next mission trip and you can help! Please  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER and feel free to invite a friend with you.

Join us on Sunday June 24th immediately following both worship experiences at Elevation Church Uptown.

A large percentage of the patients treated by HHFoH volunteers suffer from illnesses caused by poor hygiene. In addition, Haiti is still struggling with a cholera epidemic more than eight years after the disease’s first appearance in the country. We also understand there is a need for hygiene education.  So, starting with our trip this summer, we will teach basic hygienic behaviors to all the female patients who come to the clinic.  The hour-long class will include basic feminine hygiene, the necessity of systematic hand-washing with soap after using the toilet and before handling food or eating. Hygiene is one way to fight disease, especially in a cholera-induced environment.
